Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival and Muneshwaram Temple & Mannawari Temple Visit - Overnight Stay in Anuradhapura

Upon your arrival in Sri Lanka, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our team and escorted to Muneshwaram Temple, a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. After seeking blessings at Muneshwaram, we’ll proceed to Mannawari Temple, believed to be the first temple consecrated by Lord Rama himself. Later, we’ll head to Kalpitiya for an overnight stay, where you can relax and unwind after your spiritual journey.

Day 02: Travel to Jaffna - Nallur Temple, Nagadeep Hindu Temple, Jaffna City Tour, Portuguese Port

After breakfast, visit Thiruketheeshwaram Shiva Kovil after we’ll embark on a scenic journey to Jaffna, located in the northern part of Sri Lanka. En route visit Thiruketheeshwaram Shiva Kovil. Upon arrival, we’ll visit Naguleswaram Temple, Nallur Temple, a historic Hindu temple known for its intricate architecture and religious significance. Next, we’ll explore Nagadeep Hindu Temple and enjoy a city tour of Jaffna, including a visit to the Portuguese port, which reflects the colonial heritage of the region. After a day of exploration, we’ll retire for the night in Jaffna.

Day 03: Travel to Trincomalee - Koneshwaram Temple, Shankari Temple - Overnight Stay in Sigiriya

Today, we’ll travel to Trincomalee, a coastal city known for its beautiful beaches and sacred sites. Our first stop is Koneshwaram Temple, perched on a cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. We’ll then visit Shankari Temple, dedicated to the goddess Parvati. After exploring these spiritual sites, we’ll journey to Sigiriya for an overnight stay, where you can rest and rejuvenate.

Day 04: Travel to Kandy - Temple of the Tooth Relic, Kandy City Tour, Cultural Dance Show

In the morning, we’ll depart for Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Our first stop is the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in the world. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a city tour of Kandy, including visits to local markets and cultural landmarks. In the evening, you’ll be treated to a traditional cultural dance show, showcasing the vibrant heritage of Sri Lanka. We’ll spend the night in Kandy.

Day 05: Travel to Nuwara Eliya - Ramboda Falls, Hauman Temple, Seetha Amman Temple, Hakgala Botanical Garden, Ashok Vatika

After breakfast, we’ll journey to Nuwara Eliya, also known as “Little England” for its cool climate and scenic beauty. Along the way, we’ll visit Ramboda Falls and the Hauman Temple. We’ll then explore Seetha Amman Temple, Hakgala Botanical Garden, and Ashok Vatika, significant sites associated with the Ramayana epic. We’ll spend the night in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 06: Travel to Ella - Ravana Falls, Kadiragamam Temple

Today, we’ll travel to Ella, a charming hill station surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. En route, we’ll visit Ravana Falls, a majestic waterfall steeped in mythology. In the evening, we’ll visit Kadiragamam Temple, another sacred site linked to the Ramayana story. We’ll overnight in Tissamaharama.

Day 07: Travel to Colombo - City Tour and Shopping

After breakfast, we’ll journey to Colombo, the vibrant capital city of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, we’ll embark on a city tour, exploring its bustling markets, colonial buildings, and modern attractions. You’ll have the opportunity to indulge in some shopping and souvenir hunting. In the evening, we’ll transfer you to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable Ramayana tour in Sri Lanka.
